Galveston Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers

The Galveston Chapter of AAZK formed in April 2002. Several biologists from the aquarium and rainforest pyramids were members of the Greater Houston Chapter, yet as work duties increased, the amount of time to participate in an organization over an hour away became difficult. With the support of managment, we formed our own chapter and currently have a membership of ~10 biologits. Membership is available to anyone interested in animals or conservation that lives or works in Galveston County, TX.
