Galveston Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers

BFR is an annual, nationwide fundraiser held by individual AAZK chapters. The purpose is to raise money for three rhino sanctuaries in Africa and Indonesia. The black and white rhinos are protected by the Lewa Wildlife consrvancy in Kenya, Africa. In Indonesia, the Javan rhinos are protected by the Ujung Kulon Rhino Preserve and the Sumatran rhinos are protected by the Bukit Barisan Seltan National Park.
